Skill Development
Skilling is a buzword in the country these days. SHSS is running four skill development courses:
- Computer training
- Mobile repairing
- Tailoring
- Handicraft
Each trade has intake of 25 candidates each, meaning that 100 candidates are imparted training during a batch. One batch lasts for two months. One batch (100 candidates) has successfully completed the training. Many former trainees have got jobs and some others have started their own ventures.
This activity is purely self-financed. Expenses are met by selling the produce in tailoring and handicraft items. Computer training and mobile repairing passouts are motivated to donate some amount to the organisation when they start earning.
